McAllister Davis & Goldstein (MDG) is an international legal practice comprising McAllister Davis & Goldstein Inc. and its affiliated undertakings.

MDG is a global law firm operating through a number of separately constituted and regulated legal entities which provide legal and other client services in accordance with the relevant laws of the jurisdictions in which they respectively operate. The use of the name "MDG" and words or phrases such as "firm", "law firm" or "international legal practice" is for convenience only and does not imply that all or any of such entities are in partnership together or accept responsibility for the acts or omissions of each other. Legal responsibility for the provision of services to clients is defined in engagement terms entered into between clients and the relevant MDG entity and these should be relied upon in determining liability for the services provided. Absent the explicit agreement and consent of both entities involved, no MDG entity is responsible for the acts or omissions of, nor has any authority to obligate or otherwise bind, any other MDG entity.

In accordance with the common terminology used in professional service organisations, we use the term "partner" in this website to refer to a person who is a member, partner or person of equivalent standing or authority in an individual practising entity.

Our services from offices in the United States are provided by McAllister Davis & Goldstein Inc. which is a New York corporation. McAllister Davis & Goldstein Inc. is part of MDG, a global law firm, operating through various members which are separate and distinct legal entities. This Web site constitutes a 'communication' as defined in Rule 1-400(A) of the California Rules of Professional Conduct in that it is a message made by and on behalf of lawyers at MDG who are members of the State Bar of California concerning the availability for professional employment of those members and their law firm. Additionally, pursuant to applicable Rules of Professional Conduct in other states, this Website may constitute advertising. United Kingdom

McAllister Davis & Goldstein LLP is a body recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The firm and its members and employees are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The regulations of the Solicitors Regulation Authority can be found at www.sra.org.uk.

Each member of McAllister Davis & Goldstein LLP is either a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales or an exempt European lawyer (as defined by the Solicitors Regulation Authority Handbook Glossary) or a registered foreign lawyer (being an individual registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority under section 89 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990). A list of the members of McAllister Davis & Goldstein LLP is open for inspection at its registered office.

The Netherlands

All Dutch lawyers at MDG Netherlands are admitted within the Netherlands to practice as lawyers (advocaten) and are members of the Dutch Bar Association (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten, Neuhuyskade 94, 2596 XM Den Haag, tel. 070-3353535, info@advocatenorde.nl). MDG Netherlands may also have a number of lawyers from other jurisdictions who are members of foreign Bars.

France

All French lawyers at MDG France's Paris office are admitted in France to practice as lawyers (Avocat) and are members of the Paris Bar (Ordre des Avocats à la Cour de Paris). The regulatory provisions and professional rules of conduct applicable to members of the Paris Bar can be obtained from the Paris Bar at www.avocatparis.org.

Germany

Our services from our offices in Germany are provided by McAllister Davis & Goldstein LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales, which is part of MDG. Unless otherwise indicated, all German lawyers at McAllister Davis & Goldstein LLP's German offices are admitted within the Federal Republic of Germany to practice as lawyers and are members of the Bar (Rechtsanwaltskammer) for their respective office.
